HOW TO BE A MODEL: FASHION & FUNNY

SHOES ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH DRESS
I gained a fairly interesting experience during one of the fashion shows I took part in. As other models and I were trying on the designer’s clothes, quite a lot of us came to realize that the shoes we had did not match the outfit at all. We had to urgently look for some other shoes or to swap. Luckily the girls in our team were friendly and considerate and tried to support and give a helping hand to each other.
SOCKS AS AN ATTRIBUTE OF FASHION
Another challenge I faced was at the model photoshoot for the trampoline centre. I knew I had to take some particular socks with me but that just slipped my mind. As a result, my mum ran up and down the shopping mall like a sprinter and fortunately found the right socks, so it all went well in the end and I did an outstanding job.

LOOK IS THE KEY POINT
What stuck in my memory most of all was the catwalk at the Field of Wonders (Pole Chudes) show as well as a number of shows in Moscow. The main features that make a project stand out in my mind are a creative look and a big runway.

IT ALL STARTED WHEN I THREW A BIRTHDAY PARTY
We were taking pics at my birthday party and a photographer complimented me on my appearance and posing skills, so I decided to try modelling and entered a model school. ESTET FASHION WEEK and an interview about COVID at the Federal TV Channel were the most significant projects for me, but I also took part in shootings for a restaurant menu and many other awesome projects.
18+ SHALL BE CHANGED FOR SPORT!
While preparing for the catwalk I was selected for a group wearing high-heeled shoes and looked 18+. VF* representative got dissatisfied with the outfit when she saw it and there was some fuss. Eventually, they changed my clothing to a sporty style look just 20 minutes prior to my catwalk. The fashion show turned to be a success. This experience taught me to be more composed and self-disciplined.

PERFUME ADS ARE ATMOSPHERIC!
My most favourite project is the perfume commercial for a glossy magazine. But I had a challenging episode at the fashion show when the designers could not find the appropriate dress for me — they all were either too large or too long. I can easily recollect how nervous I felt then and thought I could never get ready and wouldn’t make it to the catwalk in time.

SEVERAL PAIRS OF SHOES FOR EACH MODEL SHOOT!
I took only one pair of shoes to one of the shootings and, unfortunately, it appeared not to match the look. Another model kindly lent her shoes to me and that saved me. I was so stressed at that time, but, thankfully, the shoot did happen. Now I have with me everything that may be required for any shooting.

WHOLE DAY FOR THE SAKE OF A FAME MINUTE
I am really into walking the runway even though it takes us about 6 hours to get ready for the show and that all is for the sake of only a minute of fame.
At one of the shows I accidentally broke a mirror with my foot while waiting for the catwalk.
There were many other funny cases, for example, when I forgot the belt for my trouses. Frankly speaking, it felt absolutely uncomfortable, the trousers were about to fall down over and over again.
My buddies were mocking me «Well, here is a Model» … But I didn’t take offence at them.

HUMOUR IS A BACKUP IN ALL SPHERES!
I participated in quite large-scale fashion shows in Moscow, but the most curious case occurred to me in Izvestiya HALL. We were preparing for the whole day and then, when we arrived at the site, they did not allow us to get in because of the restrictions on the number of people. Actually, I was not frustrated and took it all in good fun. As a result, we managed to make it to the catwalk and I did a fairly good job!
